What does having a IT Service cost?

Once everything has been agreed upon, your IT Services will cover reactive and proactive maintenance and 24/7 IT support for every component of technology in your business, providing you with peace of mind and the ability to accurately forecast your IT maintenance costs

What type of systems do you support?

We pride ourselves on being professionals: whether you use Google Apps or Office365, Windows, Mac, Linux, Android, or iOS, we will support your team.  Need to install a server onsite or host one virtually on Amazon or Azure? We will support you.  Need to transition from one system to another?  We’ll be there for you.

What are your response times?

Our response times vary from issue to issue. If a member of staff is unable to work, we’ll respond within 15 minutes of the ticket being raised. If it’s general administration work, such as a new starter it’ll be 2-4 hours. 

What if we already have an IT department?

No problem! We have tailored our packages to support businesses that already have feet on the ground. We offer a NOC and Co-Managed service to monitor network devices, patching, and servers so your team can help troubleshoot issues with your users on-site as well as provide assistance to first-line support tickets. We can also work alongside your current internal team as an extra pair of hands if required.

Do I really need a VoIP System?

In 2025 the old PSTN/Copper lines will be switched off and everything will run over the internet. VoIP Is extremely cost-effective and will save you money in the long run. VoIP also allows you to have your business phone on the go without handing out your personal number.

What exactly are managed IT services?

A managed IT service provider (MSP) is a business just like ORB Digital Services that provides services to businesses that do or don’t have an internal IT team. We manage your complete network and make sure it is protected, reliable, and functioning correctly. We help your staff with IT issues remotely and onsite as well as being proactive to fix potential issues before they become a problem. What should I do before I call for help?

When possible, write down any information about error messages and take screenshots of your issue. The more information you can give us, the quicker we can resolve the issue. 

What is a cloud backup?

Cloud backup also known as Online Backup is the process where your onsite backups are transferred to an offsite server at certain points throughout the day. The server is stored in the Microsoft Azure cloud. Cloud Backup replaces the need for someone to take a backup home each night. It is more secure, reliable and easier to manage and monitor.

Do you include security software such as Anti-virus?

Yes, our IT Support services come with Anti-virus, Anti-Malware, and Anti-Ransome ware as standard. The Anti-virus and Anti-malware are installed on your machine and managed by our team centrally which carries out multiple scans a day. The Anti-malware is constantly checking your machine and files for changes, as soon as it detects an issue, it isolates the machine from the network so only we can connect in.
